Conn Creek II 2.6MW Continuous Power Plant Decommission and Removal

This site was located in De Beque, Colorado on the eastside of the Rockies.  Laramie Energy purchased the site from Occidental Permian, which is an Oil and Gas Development company that installed the system to power all the equipment needed to operate the natural gas facility on that side of the mountain. The generators where commissioned, but the power plant was never operational. Preferred Power Source purchased the plant and handled the removal.



Work Performed: Electrical and mechanical disconnects, with crane and rigging on to PPS provided trucks. Decommissioned and removed (2) Caterpillar 1300kw, G3516 Natural Gas Generators as well as all electrical switchgear, paralleling cabinets and cooling towers.
